The beginning of 2020 has been marked by the coronavirus outbreak, which put on hold the interaction between countries all over the world. Pilkington Glass Russia team of experts prepared a new format of communication with the audience - series of public webinars which anyone could join.

Each week Pilkington Glass Russia proposes a new topic of the webinar. It will be repeated three times. The schedule was made in such a way as anyone willing could join at a convenient time.

The topic for the upcoming week is going to be “IGU – main characteristics”.

Simply and structured about the main characteristics of IGU with many photos and examples.

Join our first learning session for architects, consultants, developers, glass processing companies, facade and window companies representatives next week.

You are going to learn about:

Main characteristics of IGU, what they mean and why do you need them
How do light transmission and light reflection form façade appearance (with examples)
Is it good or bad to have IGU with high light reflection?
What are the solar factor and selective glass? How to evaluate its solar protection properties
Briefly about thermal properties, U and R-value

Last year Pilkington Glass Russia launched a series of public webinars, which had a thumping success among the audience. This year we continue online events in a new format, involving honored speakers. The first experience is the Good Looking Facade conference for the Southeast Asian market, in which Jose Claudio Silva and Arief Ketaren, AEDAS architects, took part.
