Côte Rocheuse Winery is made from Pilkington Glass products

The Cote Rocheuse winery became the only Russian project of the ArchDaily award "Building of the Year-2021" in the industrial architecture category. Not just production, but a new world enterprise, where a restaurant is adjacent to the workshops, and you can taste the freshest harvest wine on the panoramic terrace.

Architect Alexander Balabin, who founded the Severin Project company, managed to fit the futuristic building into the hilly landscape. The name Cote Rocheuse translates as "Rocky Coast". The concept of the bionic form of the plant was based on the combination of the hills and the sea terrain.

The project consists of two geometric volumes. At the base is a rectangular reinforced concrete block, where the equipment for gravity winemaking is located. The technology is based on the fact that the sun-made drink from the press to the place of fermentation and subsequent aging moves under the influence of gravity. This significantly improves the quality of the wine. The capacity of the plant is about 300 thousand bottles annually

The architectural concept was the oval upper floor in the shape of pebbles. It is there that the tasting room with access to the roof is located. The total area of the enterprise is almost 10 thousand square meters. The winery includes production workshops, storage cellars, a wine shop, a restaurant and a shop. The terrace of the tasting room offers views of the picturesque Black Sea coast.

The winery is built of glass and concrete-materials as ancient as wine. The panoramic facade glazing area is 3 thousand square meters. Here, architectural class Pilkington Suncool® Pro 30/16 T is used. Thanks to the exceptionally low solar factor (18%), this glass protects against solar radiation as much as possible and allows you to save on air conditioning for the room.

The project of the new building of the Department of Physical Training was developed by the architectural bureau "A2".

The futuristic high-rise buildings of the Flotilla complex tower over the Khovrino district like sails spread in a fair wind. The bright architectural accent and dynamic shape of the facades are all the more appropriate because the only reservoir in Moscow and a large river port are located nearby.

The first experience is the Good Looking Facade conference for the Southeast Asian market, in which Jose Claudio Silva and Arief Ketaren, AEDAS architects, took part.

National Gallery in Athens glazed with Russian Pilkington glass

The National Gallery of Athens has been closed for renovations since 2013. According to plans, it will soon open its doors to visitors, but it is possible already to estimate the amout of the work - the main building has been expanded more than twice. The facades of the new facilities are made of Pilkington glass brought from the Moscow region.
