Mercedes Centre Roma
Pilkington Suncool® 66/33 Pro TMercedes Centre Roma
The headquarters of the largest Mercedes-Benz Rome dealership in Italy was built in 2000 under the project of Techn-Arch Engineering and became part of the reconstruction of the Techno Citta area on Via Zoe Fontana.
The object, conceived as an architectural symbol of the technical evolution of Mercedes, is a modern glass building, the distinctive feature of which is the exhibition space located on the second floor.
The complex architecture of the object with large areas of glazing required complex technological solutions. For this project, Focchi developed special six-meter vertical racks on which the glass panels were attached.
When glazing the object, Pilkington Suncool® 66/33 Pro T glass was used— a universal product with high selectivity, low specularity, and excellent solar factor with high light transmission.
The photos of the center's object belong to Daniele Domenicali, a well-known architectural photographer in Italy and abroad.
